Shirley Eaton – Goldfinger (1964)

This Golden Girl moved away from acting after her famous role as Jill Masterson in Goldfinger. Married to Colin Lenton Rowe in 1957, the couple had 2 sons together, and Eaton would make only a few more movies in order to prioritize her time as a mother. She remarked in a 1999 interview with Starlog magazine, “A career is a career, but you’re a mother until you die.” That same year Eaton published her autobiography Golden Girl. Her strong feelings on motherhood appeared again when she told journalist James Davies in 2008, “The most important thing for me was being a woman and having a family more than being a very famous glamorous actress.”
