Mike Holmes has come a long way since his first show, “Holmes On Homes,” premiered on HGTV Canada in 2003. Two decades later and he’s expanded his home building empire large enough to earn him a $30 million fortune and multiple successive TV programs.
The reality television show “Holmes Family Effect,” which started airing in 2021, even scored a timeslot in American television programming through Fox. Holmes is also the proprietor of multiple businesses under the Holmes Group brand, including Holmes Approved Holmes, which caters to people about to build a new home.
